What to do now?

Written by admin on July 14, 2008

Seeing as I’ve got about 7 months to fill until next season I’ve decided to spend the next 7 months re-watching and reviewing Seasons One up til Season Three.

This site began at the beginning of Season Four and so there have been no reviews written by me about the first (est) 72 episodes.

I’ve got around 28 weeks to write these reviews and I’m going to aim at writing 2 a week which should bring me close to the beginning of Season Five.

These reviews can’t be as long as the others for the reviews written for Season 4 were written from first-time viewing. You can imagine it’s been four years since season one so it’ll be difficult to write reviews as a “first-time viewing” perspective. But what I will do is write a quick review on the episode, the central character of the episode, and things that have happened in that episode that relate to what we know now.

Also, in between episode reviews I’ll be writing about some of the characters who we’ve met along the way, some that have passed and some that are still alive and kicking.

So, thanks for visiting, and I hope you come back soon to read my LOST reviews and ramblings :)

Flight 815 Fanfiction Archive

Written by admin on June 11, 2008

I’m writing this on behalf of Livejournal user tyrosin. Tyrosin wrote a post in the lost_geek community and I wanted to help spread the word! So here goes:

I’ve been working on a Lost Fanfiction Archive and I was wondering if anyone wanted to upload their fics? We trying to gather a collection of quality Lost fanfiction from all over the net. Though it only opened today I am hoping that it will turn out as well as the 24 fanfic archive project I undertook where we had over 1000 fics in less than a month. At the moment I am also looking for mods and possible admin if you are interested, plus there is a monthly fanfic contest where the winner (Selected by the readers.) gets a cool trophy and the site’s graphics theme to advertise their fic.

Thanks!”

It sounds exciting, and something I might try my hand at! If you’re interested, go check out the site now!

The Hidden Clue in the Pilot?

Written by admin on June 9, 2008

I’ve looked at a quite a few LOST sites before making this post as I didn’t want to write something that had already been theorised - but as it stands the sites I’ve been on don’t have any theories about this, so I’m going to go right ahead and write it! (Please let me know if this has, infact, been mentioned before!).

The writers have always said there’s a big clue in the Pilot episode of LOST and between Seasons 3 and 4 there were alot of picking at straws, trying to disect what that clue was. Now that Season 4 has finished, I think I’ve found the big clue the writers are refering to!

There’s No Place Like Home (Part Two) - Lost Season 4 Episode 13 Review

Written by admin on June 7, 2008

There’s No Place Like Home

As the last episode of Season Four aired I couldn’t help feeling a little bit sad because now we have to wait until next year to find out what happens next - but boy, did this Finale lift up my spirits.

I didn’t think they’d be able top last seasons Finale of revealing Jack & Kate off the Island and introducing the Flash Forwards - but they did, and they did it with style!

Lost Season 4 Alternative Endings

Written by admin on June 2, 2008

With the reveal of who is in the coffin at the end of Season 4 of LOST, it was the writers decision to film three different endings just in case the reveal was leaked.

Now, we all know that the person inside the coffin is John Locke (or Jermey Bentham as he likes to be called these days), so which two Losties were cast as the man inside the coffin for the alternative endings, and were the writers really considering using them?

Take a look at this video to find out!

Is Locke Really Dead?

Is Locke Really Dead?

In Season Four it is revealed that Locke is more significant and special than we first thought.

When he is only as little as a week old he is visited by Richard Alpert of the Others/Hostiles in hospital. We don’t see any interaction with the two, but the presence of Richard is alone more than just a coincidence (Do not mistake coincidence for fate).

Comparing Notes : Comparing what really happened with my predictions on LOST

Written by admin on June 1, 2008

A couple of days ago I wrote a post with my predictions on where everyone will be by the end of Season Four. I’m now going to compare what I wrote with what really happened… and boy, was I wrong! ;)

So what happens now?

Written by admin on May 29, 2008

So we all know who the Oceanic Six are: Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Hurley, and Aaron. So what has happened to the rest of the Islands inhabitants?

I think we all know from Jacks comments in “Something Nice Back Home” that Sawyer actually chose to stay on the Island. So why was he given a choice? And did the other Losties have a choice whether or not to stay? Also, why didn’t Kate decide to stay given that she’s a wanted criminal in the “real world”?

There’s No Place Like Home (Part One) - Lost Season 4 Episode 12 Review

Written by admin on May 29, 2008

There’s No Place Like Home

This episode opens up with a view of the sky, and presumably an airplane. My first thought were they were showing the crash again from the pilots point of view, but when I saw the pilots I knew it couldn’t be as neither of them looked like the Pilot who died allll the way back in Season One, in the episode “Pilot”.

Cabin Fever - Lost Season 4 Episode 11 Review

Written by admin on May 27, 2008

Cabin Fever

The title of this episode got me excited to see it as we all know it must have something to do with Jacob’s cabin, and Jacob himself. I was anticipating the reveal of Jacob all through this episode, and slightly dissapointed we didn’t get to see him pyhsically. But the episode itself was great!
