Looking at screen captures from Lost Media, I’ve come to the conclusion that everyone else has - Christian Shepherd was in Jacob’s chair! :)

 Alot of people think that Christian Shepherd IS Jacob, and I know alot of theories went around about that at the time of the airing of The Man Behind the Curtain, but I never bought into the idea because going off screen caps Jacob didn’t look anything like Christian!

There were TWO people in that cabin when Hurley saw it. Christian Shepherd was sitting in Jacob’s chair (I’m still pondering why Jacob would let him sit in his chair!), and then there was the eye that appeared to Hurley - I believe that that is infact, Jacob (although on first inspection I thought it was Mikhail!).

Christian Shepherd is wearing a nice to-do suit as you can see from this image:

It is clearly obvious to me that this isn’t the same person we saw in The Man Behind the Curtain, because that man was wearing old and dingy clothes and he looked completely different (and of course, it was Jacob, not Christian! ;) ).

I believe this eye is the eye of Jacob:

I also notice something weird about this picture, like maybe he has a deformed nose? Alot of people thought that it was Locke who looked at Hurley because the next scene shows Locke greeting Hurley after his expedition, and we all know Locke has a connection with Jacob, but I don’t think this is the case.

I believe the man in the chair was Christian, and the man who looked at Hurley was Jacob.

The only wondering I have is Why?, How?, and… WTF?! :D
