This episode of Lost was probably the one with the best twist to the storyline! It certainly got the mind boggling!

So Desmond and Sayid are being locked in a room on the freighter, when Frank comes in and gives the guys some food. They mention how they managed to escape the room earlier and told Frank that someone had left the door open. They both thought it was him, but Frank said that it wasn’t. So who was it I wonder?

Cut to Sun and Jin on the beach - Sun is concerned that Sayid and Desmond have been gone for three days now and is wondering if the freighties are really there to rescue them. Jin quickly changes the subject and they start discussing baby names. Jin says he likes the name Ji Yeon for a girl. Aww.

Cut to Sun in Korea and we’re unsure if this is a flash forward or flash back until… she starts getting stomach pains and is obviously going into labour! This is definately a flash forward, and Sun is one of the Oceanic Six!

The next scene opens with Jin in a desperate dash to buy a Panda bear cuddly toy for his soon to be newborn. Aww.

Back on the beach and Sun tells Jin that Kate is back from Lockes. Juliet is mentioned in the conversation and Kate hints at her being a liar. This causes doubt on Suns side as Juliet told her that pregnant women die on the island, and Sun is wondering whether Juliet told her the truth!

Back on the freighter Sayid and Desmond receive a note through the door that reads “Don’t trust the captain!”. This left me wondering, is Charles Widmore the captain? Nah - he wouldn’t be on a freighter like that! I’m sure he has a lot of money to buy a plush cruise ship. So who is the captain?! Is he Bens man? Hmm…

Back on the beach Sun tells Jin that she wants to go to Lockes camp because she doesn’t think the freighties are there to rescue them. Jin agrees as he’ll go wherever Sun goes. Juliet finds out and is desperate for Sun to stay on the beach because Juliet knows what will happen to Sun if she doesn’t get off the islan within 3 weeks. Sun is reluctant to believe her and goes on her way.

Back to the flash forward and we see Sun in the hospital. The doctor says the baby is in distress and asks Sun if there is anyone they should contact. She tells them to get her husband, to get Jin.

Cut to Jin and he’s outside the toyshop he bought the panda from and is in a desperate dash to get a taxi to the hospital. He puts the panda in the taxi and before he has a chance to get in he is knocked by someone and his phone is knocked out of his hand, he goes to pick it up then someone nicks his taxi! Instead of going to the hospital anyway he decides to go back to the toyshop and get another panda! He must have a thing for pandas! ;)

Back on the beach and Sun and Jin are getting ready for their trek to Lockes when along comes Juliet! In a desperate attempt to keep Sun at the beach she tells Jin (who apparantly now understands English!) that Sun had an affair before coming to the island.

Jin being Jin goes on a fishing trip with Bernard to think about what Sun did to him. Jin and Bernard have a heart to heart about marriage and other lovey dovey stuff :)

On the freighter Desmond and Sayid are now outside on the boat and they see Regina throw herself off the edge committing suicide! They meet the captain and he tells them that a few members of their team have been suffering some “cabin fever” of late and it’s because they’re so close to the island. Sayid asks him why not move away from the island but mentions that someone on the freighter is sabotaging it and they end up back where they are.

The captain tells them who is behind the freighter, it’s no surprise to us but to Desmond it sure is! :)

They go to a room in the freighter and the captain shows them a black box that was apparantly from Oceanic Flight 815 - the fake one that was discovered. He mentions that that is one of the many reasons why they’re after Ben! So Ben was behind the fake wreckage afterall?! Surprise, surprise!

Back to the flash forward and Sun is in labour, and she gives birth to a baby girl. Still no Jin in sight with his panda bear!

Back to the freighter and the doctor shows Desmond and Sayid to a room they can stay in now. There is blood on the wall from where someone must’ve shot themselves. The doctor shouts out to Kevin Johnson (the janitor) to clean it up. We can’t see him at this point but he walks over to where they are and…. surprise, surprise, it’s MICHAEL! Who’d have thought it? ;) Now all I want to know is why is he now called Kevin, where is Walt, and how did he end up on the freighter?!

Back to the beach and Jin and Sun reconcile with each other. Jin tells her it doesn’t matter what she did because she did it when he was a violent person. He tells her it’s different now, because he’s a different man. And he certainly is! Remember season 1 Jin?! Scary! ;)

Back to the flash forward and we see Jin arrive finally at the hospital with his panda bear. He greets someone outside the room and not all is as it seems because apparantly the woman inside the room has had a boy! And Jin is only there on behalf of Suns father as this woman is the daughter of the ambassador! So Jin failed Sun by going to a different hospital while she was in labour at another hospital?!

Then as he walks out the nurse mentions that he wasn’t there long, and he says he’s only been married for 2 months! Confusion?! Some sort of time loop?! Nope, afraid not - it’s a flash back!!

So back to Suns flash forward she is in her apartment with her new baby girl, who she called Ji Yeon :) Hurley arrives to see them both and he mentions that they should go see Jin.

They arrive at a graveyard where Jin has been buried :( The date of his death is 22nd September 2004! He obviously didn’t make it off the island, so what happens to him in the time between now and the rescue?

This episode certainly had a lot of twists and turns and now I’m really looking forward to next weeks episode! Only one more to go until there is a break! I hope next weeks episode is as good as this, and with Losts cleverness, I think it will be! :)
