The Mystery of Daniels Foot

Take a look at the photo - what do you see?
A bit of a discussion has arisen today over this photo, and if you can’t see why I’m guessing you’re of the majority who think that Daniel’s left foot is intact and that it is just being covered by leaves.
I, on the otherhand, seem to see that his left foot is missing. Sure, leaves could be covering it, but that doesn’t explain why we can see the back of his trousers where his left leg should be.
What do you think? Is his left foot there or not?
PS. Please note that this post is supposed to be entertaining and not to be taken seriously. I’m inclined to think that this is more a Photoshop error than a major plot spoiler and find it quite amusing.

then why do we see it all of season 4? it’s just the plant blocking his foot. There not gonna have him with a foot in season 4 and not 5 thats stupid

Jenn, you must have missed this paragraph in my post so here it is again:

But seriously, if you think his foot is there, even after ABC have asked major LOST fan sites to take down the high-res version of this pic, then that’s your decision.
Personally I can’t understand how you can see his foot is there, but hey, our eyes see what they want to see I guess.
Can you explain why we can see the inside of his trousers where an ankle should be?

I think the foot’s not there.
I think this is definitely a photoshop error.
I think someone got sacked, or at least a stern talking to, about the matter.

The foot is definitely not there. I think this photo is just to mess with us. There are plenty of other weird things about this photo. First, where are they and who is standing behind Faraday. You see jungle around him, but he’s sitting in an office chair. In the background there is a window overlooking a city. Maybe this whole picture is a symbol that the island is not real.

Barcs - the man you see stood behind Daniel is Locke.

I think ultimately it was a photoshop error. Maybe a clue for us super anal losties which would be cool.
Another thing I noticed, look at the arm rest daniel is laying his left arm on. It’s much larger than the one he has his right arm on. Weird that we notice the foot first

Alex, you’re right, his arm does look a little weird.
To be honest, I’ve always thought that that chair he’s sitting in wasn’t the one he was sitting in when the photo was taken - it just doesn’t look like he’s sitting in it naturally.

Remeber when that lady adviced them how to get back? I think that when locke returns, farady will loose his leg. Or maybe just a photoshop error!

if you look carefully, you’ll find that even his right boot is empty!!
Faraday’s both foots are missing!!
i guess this is not a photoshop error. it’s done intentionally

yeah, weird. it kinda looks like his whole lower half was photoshopped into the chair. (because the shading looks off and his foot looks weird.) also they totally messed up whith blending the pant leg into the rest of the pic. if you stare at it a while and doze off a little you’ll see what i mean.

hmmm… All of Daniel Farady is there except his left foot. The giant Egyptian statue is all gone except for the left foot. Is this intentional misdirection, or just a funny peculiar incident
